What
kind of identification is required for me to travel?
Due to heightened security at all airports, airlines airport
security personnel are required to check valid government
issued photo identification of all passengers. The name
on each ticket must match the valid government issued
photo ID shown to ticket agents at the airport.
Depending
on where you are travelling, some countries require passports
and some just require government issued photo identification
(IE: Birth Certificate + Drivers Liscience).
Do
I really need travel insurance?
YES! With most travel being non-refundable after purchase,
travel insurance will cover the cost of penalties and/or
non-refundable portions of your travel if you or your
traveling companion become ill or injured preventing you
from traveling.
What
is an Electronic Ticket?
An electronic ticket (e-ticket) requires no paper ticket.
The confirmation/itinerary that you receive upon payment
of your reservation is your proof of ticketing. Bring
both your confirmation/itinerary and a photo I.D. to the
airport when checking in for your flight to receive your
boarding pass. The benefit of an e-ticket is that it cannot
be lost or stolen.
Why and when do I have to reconfirm my flights?
Due to possible schedule changes you must reconfirm your
flights with airline 72 hours prior to departure.
When must I arrive at the airport?
All passengers must be checked in at airports a minimum
of two hours before departure on all domestic flights
and three hours before departure for international flights.
Will
I always get the seat and meal I want?
Meal and seat preferences will be passed on to the airline,
but cannot be guaranteed. Seats for all passengers will
be selected automatically based on the best seats available
and adjacent to the primary passenger, if possible. If
you arrive earlier at the airport, you have a better chance
of getting the seat you want.
Is
there an extra charge for special meals?
No, simply ask for the meal when you make your reservation.
Meal service is not offered on all flights. Check with
the airline for meal service for particular flights.
Is
there a fee for changing or cancelling my flight?
If you wish to change or cancel your flight, you will
need to contact a B&C agent or the airline. Depending
on the airline, you may be subject to fare increases and
substantial service/cancellation fees.
What
will happen if I lose my ticket or don't use it?
If paper tickets are lost, call your B&C agent or
the airline to file a claim. Depending on the individual
airlines’ policy, you may be penalized substantial
fees or required to purchase a new ticket. If the lost
ticket is not recovered or used within 6 months, the airlines
will, at a minimum, make a partial refund less processing
fees. Certain bulk and coupon tickets are absolutely non-refundable,
even if lost, stolen or damaged. A minimum service fee
will apply. Check with your Netholidays travel agent or
the airline for specific fees, policies and procedures
regarding lost tickets.
How
does a charter flight differ from a regular published
flight?
Typically, charter airlines don't have the extensive route
network that scheduled airlines have. They focus mostly
on popular destinations domestically, in Europe, the Caribbean,
and some destinations in the USA, such as Florida. Some
charter airlines operate year round and others only at
busy times of the year like Christmas and summer. Many
charter companies operate with fewer planes than a scheduled
airline.
What
are the baggage limitations for charter flights?
Charter airlines are usually more restrictive when it
comes to the weight of your baggage. You may be able to
pay extra at the airport to increase your allowance, but
this can be expensive. Baggage allowance is restricted
to 2 pieces per person (20kg per piece) plus one piece
of hand luggage weighing no more than 5 kg.
Why
is a flight shown and then not available when I go to
purchase it?
The system for searching flights is done in real time.
As tickets are continually being purchased around the
world, there is a small chance that the availability could
change between the time that the initial search is performed
and when you actually go to purchase the seat. The likelihood
of this happening is greater in high season when there
are many people traveling and seats are very limited.
Can
I fly one-way or to multiple cities?
Yes! Barrett & Carlysle.com offers both one-way and
multi-destination travel. You can choose either open-jaw
or circle trip.
Does
Netholidays offer business class and first class tickets?
Yes we offer tickets on airlines that offer business &
first class service.
How
does group discounts and special fares work?

Where are cheapest destinations for an all inclusive
vacation package?
Although this isn’t guaranteed, some of the cheapest
sun destinations are Cuba & Dominican Republic.
Do you offer all-inclusive vacations?
Yes! Just check off the appropriate box to search all-inclusive
vacations.
Can I get a cot, rollaway bed, or crib?
If you need a cot, rollaway or crib please contact the
hotel directly and in most cases they should be able to
accommodate you. Please note that some hotels charge a
fee for this.

Is transportation between the airport and hotel
included in the package price? Will my hotel have a courtesy
car or shuttle?
Aiport transfers (at your destination) are almost always
offered on all-inclusive packages. Please read your package
information carefully.
Can
I request a specific room location?
Specific requests can be made directly by calling your
hotel.
Can I reserve a handicapped-accessible room for
my package?
If you need handicapped access, please contact the hotel
directly. Most hotels will be happy to accommodate you
based on availability.
